Come as a tourist. Stay as a friend. Leave as family.
Bhutan’s first agro-based farm-to-table stay: a family farm in Dogar, Paro, with eight wood-panelled rooms, organic meals from our own farms in Paro and Punakha, and a view across to the 17th-century Langka Monastery and the Genekha Valley.

A working farm, run by a family
The Happiness Farm is the farm of Dorji, his wife Kezang and their family, in Dogar, in the terraced hills of Paro. We grow apples, Japanese pears, walnuts and vegetables, and nearly everything on your plate comes from our own land.
Our sister farm, The Happiness Farm in the Punakha Valley, grows more than 22 kinds of fruit and vegetables, including avocados, oranges, lemons, pineapples and dragon fruit. They are brought to Paro and served to you here, making us the first agro-based farm-to-table stay of its kind in Bhutan. Everything is grown organically, and everything is done with love.
Stay a night or a week. Pick fruit, collect eggs, cook with us, or sit by the bonfire under the mountains. We are a small place, so you get to know us, and we get to know you.
