Kcymaerxthaere is a multi-dimensional parallel universe created by famous artist Eames Demetrios. It is a “geographika,” or a geography of the imagination, that exists alongside our own world and can be explored through physical installations and online media.
The universe of Kcymaerxthaere is made up of numerous parallel worlds, or “kcymaerx,” each with its own unique culture, history, and laws of physics. These worlds are connected by “portals,” or points of intersection, which allow travelers to move between them.
Demetrios has created over 100 physical installations in the real world that serve as portals into Kcymaerxthaere, and he has also published a series of “Kcymaerxthaereal stories” on the Kcymaerxthaere website which can be found that delve into the history and culture of various kcymaerx.
One of them is at Happiness Farm 1 and the other is installed under a cave at Happiness Farm 2 in Punakha. In total, there are four installations in Bhutan ( one in front of a private home in Lungtenphu and the other in Phongmey, Trashigang.
